Brian initially built his business career at Westlund Industrial Supply where he was responsible for the expansion of the business across Canada. The expansion of the business meant focusing on creating an international supply chain in the early 1970’s. This experience laid the foundation for the China initiative which began in 1986 and has been built today to include industry leaders in forestry, oil and gas, pipeline, and many more.

Wang Ke
VP and Partner

A co-founder and partner of TAK, Wang Ke has been in international trade business since 1981 dealing with multi-nationals like John Deere in China as co-bidding partners on World Bank procurement projects.  He managed a turnkey project on ABS coinage blank technology transfer to China from Canada and has worked extensively in both sourcing of products, marketing products, technologies and training for major Canadian and U.S. companies.

Craig Trendel
VP Imports

After working with Stantec for a number of years and achieving his P. Eng status, Craig quickly began honing his business skills by achieving ‘Dean’s List’ at the Richard Ivey School of Business.  Subsequent experience at a management strategy consulting firm has given Craig the ability to quickly understand his client’s businesses at a strategic level, while still applying his project management experience in order to ensure the successful execution of complex projects

Harrison Wang
Business Development Manager

Working with Matrikon and Honeywell, Harrison developed extensive experience selling advanced technology into the mainland China market. Coming to TAK in 2014, Harrison works to identify and pursue Canadian technologies with opportunities to expand into China.

Kerri Trendel Cameron
HR Manager

Kerri formally joined TAK on a part-time basis in 2013 after 10+ years of working in vocational rehabilitation which helped hone her considerable HR skills in a difficult sector.  Her experience working with employees and employers, in varied industries, toward resolving both medical and interpersonal issues/conflicts has proved valuable for mixed cultures with our staff in China and Canada.  As TAK International continues to grow and serve a diverse group of clients, Kerri's focus on staff education and performance will encourage high quality product delivery and top notch service provision, which match our clients expectations/demands. 

Brenda Trendel

Brenda is a founding shareholder of TAK and has provided the necessary support in administration while managing the financial affairs of the company so growth would be handled professionally and effectively. Her skills with our staff in China, customers, banks and clients have been invaluable and today her macro perspective is key to the company's direction.
